You should make a schedule for the day that you want to have. A to-do list shouldn’t be an external tyrant or a prison. Don’t set it up so it says “should do, should do, should do, then I can relax” (punishment/reward ). You can set your preferred ratio for responsibility versus reward, and if you can get to 51% completed, that’s a start. Success will snowball.


If you get to the end of the day worse than you were at the beginning, then it was a stupid day


There is a vicious cycle: Crack the whip -> Procrastinate -> Crack …..


You know perfectly well that there are a bunch of things you need to stop doing in order to improve your life. Pick an easy one, that you know you can stop, and begin there. Later on you can move to the things that you can’t stop.
