Justice is minimal necessary force to put things right. Revenge is taking things farther than that, which risks spiraling out of control, which it tends to do.[1]

Applications

"SJW types are binding together in groups to portray the world as a place where people bind together in groups in order to justify the use of power, and to put forward an ideology that denies the notion that the individual is at the center of the conceptual sphere."[2]

"I can't imagine anything we could possibly strive for in our society that would make it into hell faster than [mandating] equality of outcome. The historical evidence for the pathology of that route is so strong, you have to be historically ignorant beyond belief, or malevolent, or resentful beyond comprehension in order to think that's a good idea, or argue for that."[3]
